Thanks Bunyip, another wet season done. They're forecasting a strong El Nino ahead so we'll have to wait and see how that one goes.

No rain here again this morning. This burst of SE hasn't caused much rain in our area so far. Just the 2mm in the last 7 days. We're really enjoying the cooler conditions though.

Been getting around 1-5 mm per day down here for the past week with mostly overcast conditions ...I still have to have the irrigation on potted plant areas all day as its enough to just keep the place wet enough to be miserable but not enough to actually water stuff...

Although saturday was mostly sunny and we went for a walk along Garners Beach on Sunday in dry conditions I hate the windy cool conditions down the beach and the messy chocolate water thats created...It just doesnt look like that quintessential tropical postcard image of paradise...I probably say it every year around this time but we lived right on the beachfront when we first moved here with views towards Dunk island from the loungeroom windows..On sunny days it was pretty impressive but after days or weeks of this weather it was just downright depressing..

Looks like most of the actual showers are skirting us and hitting Bunyip at this stage..Hate to say it but I hope that trend continues..lol..

The way the 10 day charts are showing after this high moves east, next week the next one isnt near as intense and we may actually get some decent weather...

It's been pretty miserable here on the Tableland too in the last few weeks. Overcast and dreary, feels almost like rain but none falls. Cold too.

Windy and cool here as well the last few days, not good for reef fishing. It would be nice and rough out there. 5.5mm in the gauge this morning, that's the highest total in 13 days.

We had our highest May total with 19mm overnight. A few light showers still hanging around this morning. There's no rain on the White Rock forecast from Monday at the moment which would be nice.

18 mm in the gauge this morning.
My daughter has some friends up from Melbs ATM. They wanted to go out to reef, they could not find a reef trip under $300 p/p so they are going to Fitzroy tomorrow instead. Imagine outlaying that sort of money and getting 25-30 knot southeasters and rain…..
