Build-up in full swing in Darwin with overnight apparent temperatures hanging around 30C on a 23/24C dew point.
The beers never taste better than at this time of year! |

The beers never taste better than at this time of year! There is a bit of moisture over this side of the "pointy bit" this weekend, however no real build up happenin yet. I will have a beer later today and let you know if it tell me the wet is on its way here too.

(My gauge is the amount of water that runs off of the side of the can)

I did the test a couple of times this afternoon and I am please to say the humidity has been rising. Still no proof of the wet season, but I will keep testing, as you said, in the name of science.

How are thing building over where you are Orebound? Humidity is on the rise over "this side" and we have had a few showers over the last couple of days. Quite a way to go for the wet season though.

Quite a way to go for the wet season though. Yeah it's slowly starting to look a bit more like the build-up with a few thundery showers poking around inland today. Still no rain for Darwin as yet but I would suggest there is reasonable potential for that to change over the weekend and into next week. Apart from that, it's hot! Good stuff Orebound... Is this just an early stormy time, or is the wet season here up in your lovely part of the world?

Good to see rain and storms on the forecast for the top end. Still slowly building up over here in QLD, but not much happening.

Oh my goodness, Orebound. What stunning photos.
Same old, same old dry weather down here, so I am envious.

Great images Orebound. I would love to experience the build up in Darwin. Must be getting a bit tropical up there now.

Love these photos Orebound. Brings back memories of my times living in Darwin.
How's this wet season been? Your last one wasn't a good one was it?
