Nice work setting the forum up Paul.
It may be right in front of me but does the forum have the option to use a dark theme? Bright white can be pretty hard on the eyes! |

You couldn't change it, but you can now because I just enabled it. Once you are logged in: - Go to My Profile (At the top of the screen)
- Go to Edit Profile (Left hand side)
- Scroll down to the bottom and there should be an option to 'Select your preferred theme'
- Click on the save button and it will update with that theme
There are some dark ones in there and some "funky ones" too. To change it back to the default theme, select 'YAF Pro'. Let me know if you can't find one that is dark enough and I will go on the hunt for some more themes. Enjoy the weather!

I think most people enjoy the chatter about 'climate drivers'. It would be useful if it was not hidden and had a dedicated position that is easily viewed and accessed. I love the use of clouds in the background. It reminds me of our old home which many of us miss I like the way this forum is shaping up and too boot a climate change thread is permitted. Thanks. and hoping we will have many years of forum friendly chatter. regards to all Edited by user Sunday, 25 August 2019 2:28:44 PM(UTC)

Wondering who will get honors for the first post and conversation on the Tasmanian and south Australian thread. I would love to see those threads come alive. Noticing that when you select the latest post the link takes you to the first page of the thread instead of the the latest post which is a tad annoying. Could that be changed Paul? regards Edited by user Tuesday, 27 August 2019 4:11:44 PM(UTC)

Hi Paul Help please? Can't figure out how to change my username. Doesn't seem to be available in Edit Profile, but may have missed it. During registration I didn't realise I should've used a user name rather than my real name. Cheers.

Hi Paul. Can Gemma the cat, the other partner involved, post some threads or pics. You should have a nice view up there. That cracked me up when I read that post. It is looking real good. Starting to increase with new members. Thank you for your hard work and time. Cheers. I did have a question but the answer was a couple of post above. thanks. I will see if I can get a photo of her in her code disrupting keyboard walking. Glad you could join us. Feel free to post as much as you want and if you want to share pictures and do not want to store them elsewhere and just link to here, you can upload them to our servers using the paperclip icon/button and we host them for you. This is handy when some photo hosting sites are starting to charge.

It uploads the file from your computer .I did notice you have to drag and drop the picture into the drop file here box . The file then gets automatically inserted into your conversation. Then preview your upload .

Thanks admin or whoever tweeted me tonight about your aussie site. I am in Nebraska US of A and work night shift. I have a massive interest in volcanoes geology etc but also the effect on climate. I will start a post and put you on my now growing list of people to contact when a big one goes off. I have a passing interest in hurricanes if time permits
BTW admin. I have an outlook email account and it put your registration link in my spam folder.

I can't drag and drop on a tablet, however the "Add Button" allows me to view files and attach that way. Mustn't forget to press the upload button afterwards though, like I did the first time.

Hi Colmait,
I love your photos in the Cloud Appreciation topic. I have added the .jpeg extension to the upload box thingy, so you should be able to post those images now.

That is awesome Paul. Thanks very much. Unfortunately on the ipad I cant change the format or file name. The only way was throwing it into a new file in one of the apps. Adding the jpeg will solve that. But I will be using the computer more now that I have fixed a few corrupted files etc. It is running extremely fast again. . But thank you very much. Makes it easier while out chasing etc and you can upload straight away from your phone. I should get another mobile wifi again and use the laptop. Cheers.
