I have a website of real time weather data in Ferny Grove (north west Brisbane) collected from my automatic weather station. This presents current data every 10 seconds and most other data every 5 minutes as well as other weather related information and analysis.
This is designed using responsive design principles and should work well using different screen sizes and replaced my old basic site about 4 months ago.
Feel free to let me know if have any thoughts or feedback, here or by contacting me on the website. |

Set up my first Weather Station about 6 weeks ago. Using an "Ozweather" WH1950. Nice unit with a 7 inch colour display & WiFi connection. At the moment it is only sending data to Weather Underground but I would like to set up my own website in the future. I have calibrated the temps to the BOM instruments in my back paddock & the station MIN/MAX temps are within +/- 0.5 degrees of those. Have not had enough rainfall to check the calibration yet. Had some difficulty calibrating the Barometric Pressure as all other BOM stations are over 100 km`s away & at different altitudes. Apparently my Phone has a Barometer built in so I have used that to set the Relative Pressure. Will be interesting to see how it performs over time. Thats excellent Ambient. My station has a boring LCD (Green and black) screen and I have been looking around and some of them have amazing colour screens that look like TVs. I will look up your station on Weather Underground.

Only thing I don`t like about the display is the small size of the wind information. Also get a nice web page for the station when you register the device as well as a phone app. Screenshots of the web page. |
