We see white cockatoos, but not many. Saw a yellow tailed black cockatoo this morning. I missed the rest of them. But pink & grey galahs - omg, hundreds of them, and when they have their young ones you just want to leave town for their incessant calling.

Temps have been very mild and comfortable, and parts of the daytime have been a bit on the cool side especially when the wind is constant. Looks like it will be pretty hot again by Tuesday next week.

So... They've changed it from the old one. The old one fitted onto my my 14" Lenovo screen. The new one does not. Annoying, and looks like craap. Hopefully looks better when there's something happening.

The old version I could see everything at a glance, the new I have to scroll even when I've resized the page down a couple sizes.

Just checked on my phone, a large Oppo. Fits on the page, but the map is way too small. Messy trying to zoom.

Might be fine if on a giant desktop screen, or a tablet, but this little vegemite isn't too happy with it.

They've got the right idea, but who designed it? Signs of reduced funding I guess.

Edit: May have been affected by the Windows 11 update today. They've made it look pretty, but some things require too much scrolling where before you could see at a glance. Grrr.

Thanks Weary But I wish they would just concentrate on getting forecasts and data right and stop playing with things that are not broke.

Breezy, sunny and a bit cooler here. 15mm overnight, that hasn't been bettered since 10th August.

40mm here for the last 4 days. That could be it for a while. Looks like the BOM has forecast less cyclones this season.

And the radar is down again , not really a problem at this point in time but after a major refit only just completed you would think it could work for a few years without an outage.

Warming up but the mornings are still cool with a good flow of morning fog rolling down the river each morning just before sunrise.
Still have not put irrigation in so it's lots of dragging hoses around each arvo ,,lol
