Well here we are 19/10/23 and there is early indication that a system will form in the Coral sea over the next few days.
Most reports / forecasts are saying that it will not impact on our coast, but that the island of the South Pacific should get ready.

Let the discussion flow. Cool

Cheers

If it develops into anything decent it will probably head off the the NZ graveyard.
We could do with the occasional storm out here in the meantime. The temperatures have been high enough.

Yes probably head of to NZ but the BoM are now showing a bit of interest.
Shows up on their new map thing.

Humidity is not building up down here just yet 28, that temps are climbing but it's still bearable.

Noticed earlier this morning it was marked as a Tropical Low.
To be completely defeatist, it will probably just suck ALL the moisture away from us out here for the next few weeks.

Getting a decent swirl up there.

As for temps, looks like building up to an extremely hot one next week. Coastal Cairns region might be the only area that escapes it.
