It looks like a good possibility that we will see some half decent falls this week. Some models are suggesting 50-100 mm for the Southeast Coastal area from around Bribie Island down into the NE NSW areas. Then it builds again around the Wide Bay area.

We may see some storms build this afternoon. Just have to see how that one pans out. The lower to midlevels are very saturated . But the rain and showers are just what we need.

Some big totals have already been recorded through Southern Queensland and NE NSW.
But as the following radar shows rain is really starting to ramp up for a wider area in SEQLD and NE NSW.
Also the latest severe weather warnings for the upcoming rain and storms.

We didn’t get too much of the rain overnight here. After all the build up we had 2 mm. Out West the had some very heavy fall resulting in floods.

Currently another cell is moving towards Brisbane.

Some decent rain hitting the north of Brisbane. We are just on the edge of it at the moment.
It has been a hit and miss as the rainfall for the last 24 hours shows.
Also current radar sweep and lightning
