Not looking wonderful over on Bribie Island, after yesterday's controlled back burn got out of control.
This is from my place this evening and considering I am 37km away (as the crow flies), it shows the size of it. (Sorry, I am not the best photographer!

Bribie Island Fire 22nd August 6pm


Zuldjan, who is also a member of this forum is in the Rural Fire Service over there today, so hopefully I will get some photographs from him later on.

Zuldjan, who is registered on these forums has kindly allowed me to post some photos he and the Closeburn RFS took over on Bribie on 22nd August.

Sad to see the wildlife has struggled in the Bribie fire and died on the beach. Sad
