Drove through the most amazing electrical storm I've experienced in years, last Saturday afternoon at Sarina.

Rain started around Flaggy Rock, on & off. Then saw the occasional thick lightning bolt striking the ground, flashing multiple times.

By the time I got to Sarina it was coming down in thick impenetrable sheets. Lightning flashing continually through the rain.

The power was obviously out, with none of the traffic lights working. Pulled over at the north end of town. Checked the radar & realised I could drive out of it. Made it about a kilometre & stopped again. Soon as I could see the road & line markings I set off again.

A very good storm.
