Yeh looks to have centred more over cairns city now was on the northern beaches early this morning the heaviest stuff.
Supposed to slowly move south, no doubt babinda will cop a flogging later on if it holds together. |

That's great 28degrees thank you for posting. We're north of Cairns and South of Port. Webcam gives a reasonable idea of flooding around at least some of the northern beaches, as well as great images. Appreciate. Edited by user Monday, 6 March 2023 1:19:17 PM(UTC)

13mm this morning, from a very late afternoon shower. Thought I'd be able to fit in a short walk before dark, and just made it home before getting completely drenched.
Looks like it's easing off though, and that low in the Gulf looks to be sitting where it is and will dissipate.

15.2mm here, just narrowly avoided that heavy shower/storm last night that provided 207mm at Vohland Rd and 163mm at Aloomba. Wish there was a gauge at Deeral. |

Woke thinking it was another dry day, but we had a lovely light early morning sprinkle, refreshing, and giving us one whole millimetre.

2mm here this morning :) And I have pretty much got on top of the mowing for now, but oh boy is it growing fast. Still a couple of boggy areas but that's always the case this time of year.
A low cat cyclone would be ok to wake up some of the new people to life in the north but don't need a big one.
cheers

Access also has a cyclone hitting the coast early next week around Central QLD/Airlie beach region.... Long way off yet but something to keep an eye on..I wonder when the media will start picking up on it and start the usual supermarket shuffle...
