Hey lucky you. You've got some real weather after all. Saw the storm warnings last night. That's great.
I'm back to watering daily. 😁

could see the flashes from up here before dawn, and hear a few bangs. Airport was at 147mm , must of been a ripper.
Was on the reef yesterday and could see a few towers going up in the arvo.
Any bets on a wet Easter ?
Cheers

Well Equinox has come and gone (by the calendar) but it would appear Sunday is the day here, sun rises at 6:21am and sets at 6:21pm, it's down hill from there shorter days and longer hours of darkness.
70mm here from that storm last night, seemed to come form nowhere, just a few flashes early on, then bang.

One whole millimetre, about 3pm. Almost missed it, the lightest misting rain, didn't hear it at all.

Still only that 1mm fell. Of course it had completely evaporated by the official reading time of 9am. Lol. A real Sydney autumn feel to the atmosphere today. Edited by user Monday, 29 March 2021 11:04:51 AM(UTC)

Think it's back to non-event "weather" here. Be nice to be proven wrong.
At least, I'll only need one more mow, and no more herbicide for 10 months.

Just about got sandblasted walking on the beach today, and yesterday. Forecast looks like a few more blowy days to come,- not the best reef fishing WX. The BoM & W.Z. are going for a showery start to the easter break. My 3 pairs of torres pigeons seem to have left their favourite trees for their journey back north. Cruisey flight back with a 35 knot tailwind. Maybe they're not too dumb when it comes to flight planning.

Feb was dry as a nuns nasty here, only 232mm. March a touch worse 167mm.
BoM's woeful forecasts continue, yesterday Thursday was like 20mm, today its 3mm. Just shocking when you're trying to run a business that relies on decent forecasts. Get some BoM bums back in FNQ I say. |

Quick perusal of the models tells me if we don"t get something in roughly the next week, then its game over. Already over for you @28, sorry. |
