Sounds good RF.
Woke to overcast and cool. Started to mizzle about 11am, and has continued. So, sort of raining, but you can walk around and not get wet. Nice change though.

Same here 28, a bit of that mizzle around today. Unexpected 39.5mm in the gauge this morning though.
I'm envious Ron, Fitzy is a great spot when the mackerel are on.

22.5mm here overnight. Didn't hear a sound on the roof so it must have drizzled all night. The sun is starting to break through now.

Surprisingly, there was 5mm in the gauge this morning. 1mm yesterday afternoon, and I heard some actual rain about 10.30pm or so.
Overcast, and damp today. A bit of faint mizzle every so often.
Love it when the weather does this. Helps to keep me sane for the rest of the Dry.

Well yesterday was beautiful, sun was out and the yard started to dry up, thought about mowing but put it off till today. Bad move, wet night and cold wet day here again. Will have to get a mate to mow now as I'm in for surgery tomorrow.
Still clicking on the radar everyday :(
Cheers

well that went well. Admitted Saturday morning, total hip replacement, was up and walking with a walker by 16:00 Saturday arvo and discharged today @ 12:00 Walking with crutches. Great work by the team at Cairns Base orthopedic department. Now it's just healing and not over doing it...
Weather wise it's been cool and gray but no rain here at home I'm told.
Cheers

Good to see it all went well, Bunyip. From my experience the Cairns Base has always done a great job. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Looks great Scott. Nothing to report this far out. Edit: Although it was a murky sunrise, lots of dark cloud - but clear blue skies now. Edited by user Wednesday, 12 July 2023 10:05:36 AM(UTC)

Nice fish Scott.
Not to much rain happening here. 4mm in the last week. Feeling a bit cool though, to long in the tropics I think.

Hot in the sun for a while earlier, but overcast for a while and sort of miserable. Borderline putting on extra clothing. July is always a strange month weatherwise, out here. Sometimes it's mild, and other times bitterly cold.

10mm yesterday and 14mm this morning The sun did come out there for about 20 mins, but it has returned to a very cool, stiff SE, full overcast gray sky and showers. As slim sang, the rain tumbles down in July.
Cheers
