and the forecast for Mt Buller for today has already been delivered. Thankyou very much. 5mm of rain fell with temperatures under zero this morning 4.30am to 3.30pm and may still be falling The temperatures during this period have ranged from minus 2.4 early this morning to minus 1 at 3pm. lovely So as the news just said its been snowing on the mounts. Unfortunately the Mt Hotham rain gauge is out of action. But a quick look on their site might unveil some thing similar?

Nice to be able to still talk about snow 23rd sept. I believe someone fell off the chair lift the other day. Saw a you tube https://www.smh.com.au/n...ift-20190923-p52u6m.htmlPerisher is still going to open for the school holidays. They say on their site 'The good news doesn't stop there: after significant snowfalls, an Early Opening in May, cold temps and impressive August and September storms, resulting in an extended season, 2019 has become not only one of the best seasons, but officially Perisher's longest season in memory at 136 days.'https://www.perisher.com...tending-2019-snow-season

It's just 4 months until the opening of the 2020 snow season. Does anyone have a long range outlook for the snow in Australia (especially Victoria) this winter.
