They seem to have it working again now weary...which is just as well with some rather violent stormage happening to our west..including hail on the tablelands.

Some amazing pics from inside the eye of Melissa from Hurricane hunters...Damned if I would be wanting to fly through the eyewalls of that sucker...

Great photos Scott, they're definitely brave people on those planes Apparently on the last flight through the hurricane, one of their pressure readings was just under 900hpa. Incredible stuff.

Just 1.5mm out of that stormy arvo yesterday Scott. Only light rain here with plenty of distant rumbles to the W and NW. There's a chance of a severe storm on the forecast today so we'll see what happens there.

Oct: 100.5mm
YTD: 2741mm

Thanks for the link Scott.
I checked out his FB page
https://www.facebook.com...mchasing?mibextid=ZbWKwL

And came up with this video
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/17atCU8JGX/

That would really be something to be inside that.

As for storms yesterday I noticed it was a bit dark to the south when I went around to Freshwater around 3pm. While there heard an occasional faint rumble, and later on some light rain. Never gave it a second thought til I stumbled across a post from Atherton Weather - and thought it was an old video...
