Thanks Scott. Could be interesting. Hope it's not a bad one.

Would you believe, TC Freddy is still going, after starting in the western Timor Sea on 3 February.

No weather to report out here. A few flashes of light in the distance around midnight Sunday night. Bright sunny day today. Interesting clouds around. A couple faint rumbles in the distance again.

Hot and humid here on the lowlands the last couple of days..

Running out of water in my little tank, still got my bore pulled so need a little shower or
to pull my finger out and get this pump setup again..

Looking like you're getting a nice early morning rain 28

cheers

Lol. Black as, to the west. Faint sprinkle half hour ago, when I checked the gauge.

1 whole mm - probably fell at 1.15am.

Caught a beautiful rainbow. First I've ever seen in the western sky in my 12 years here. Really hard to catch the colour.

Thanks Bunyip. It is isn't it. This season is the very first time I've had grass growing so close together it looks like a proper turfed lawn. Just had it mowed that morning.

Still hasn't rained...lol.

Certainly does look lush out there 28..it should keep the dust down for a while..

Are those Silver wattles near the gate..?

Such beautiful days at the moment..enjoying a couple of dips in the creek each day to get the sweat off and cool the dogs down as well..2 of them have been getting grass allergies a fair bit lately...

Mount Morgan Wattles. The big one is only one year old. Couldn't believe how fast it grew. Lovely leaves, just like touching velvet.

Those two big unseasonal falls last year kept the dust down all the way through last Dry. It was wonderful. So yes, no dust around at the moment.

Hot and muggy today, but a very faint sprinkle mid afternoon freshened it up nicely. So envious of you having a dip in the creek every day.

1mm in White Rock in the last 7 days. Chillagoe looks lovely and green 28. You can see you've had a great wet season so far. There could be a bit more rain around in the next week or so.

It's been a brilliant Wet. Actually have proper grass that's thick & looks like suburban turf now...lol. First time ever.

A few dry days now. Getting used to the sunshine again. Looking forward to a few more good falls before it stops. Fingers crossed.

Looks like most of you have had a bit of rain this morning. Nice.

Nothing this far out, but cloudy & can feel rain around. Not expecting it for here, but at least the air feels fresh & clean.

Good morning weather folks :)

31mm here Just in time for my tank. My bore is still out and I only have a very small tank that is only really for drinking water
but I've plumbed it into the house while I stuff around and get this pump fixed & build a new pad & pump house.
Anyway all good for another week or so now and it looks like a wet week coming.

9 days in a row in March with no rain must be some sort of a record and only 167mm so far this month is a long way down on average.

Cheers

Same here bunyip had 9 days without any rain and 40mm overnight which was right about the perfect timing. Anyone see any models for this low next week hoping it’s not coming this way ?

61mm here in the last 2 days. It's been a while since we had a good run of south-easterlies. Showery forecast for the next few days should keep things a bit cooler.

Think we've reached the time of year to suggest people visit Chillagoe to escape the rain.
Don't think we'll see much more except for the odd millimetre. Dragonflies have arrived, a few more than I usually see.

Sounds great Bunyip.

Weather has settled down so much here I forget to look at my weather maps. Once I see all these highs lining up I know that's it til September.

Yep, I think you are right @28, the exciting part of the wet season is done and dusted. Now who wants to lay bets as to how long the SE showers are gonna hang on for? Let's hope they bugger off a bit earlier than the Cairns show lol.
