Good thunder starting to happen just to the west Bunyip. It's closing in now, really unsettled. Cairns airport has done well out of those storms, it must be nearing 600mm for Dec there. Only 1 or 2 mm here today. Edit: About 15mm out of that storm. It was very fast moving. Edited by user Friday, 20 December 2024 5:54:29 PM(UTC)

51.5mm in the gauge this morning, that's 243.5 for the last 5 days. That forecast map for Cairns was spot on Scott. Nice blue sky here so far.

yeah merry xmas to you all...
Sure was a stinker yesterday and lingered into the evening.. a few cold beverages and a soak in the creek made it bearable..
sheesh it was a wet old December wasnt it...747mm here for the month measured by my closest neighbor who also came over and enjoyed a few cold beverages and swim yesterday...
The boats tilt/trim decided xmas would be a great time to stuff up with no chance of fixing till after new year means any xmas activities will be land based as going out in the smaller open boat would not be much fun...
Talked to family in Warialda, 28, and they also said jumpers were still needed at night time..its hard to beleive why people live there...
