Ie. there will never be another Larry it will have been replaced by another “L” name.

I agree Weary, a bit far out yet to be calling a Brisbane cyclone. I take it they're going on the latest computer runs. Latest from Tropical Tidbits GFS for MAR 5.

4mm here this morning. Nice fresh SE breeze today.
GFS had the cyclone crossing south of Brisbane yesterday, today it has it crossing near Rocky. Still a lot of doubt there.
Some amazing rainfall figures there Weary.

Looking at the models this arvo the cyclone graveyard is looking good. But the more time it stays where it is things can change I reckon. 1.5mm here this morning. Edit: GFS now has it near Sydney on the 9th Mar. Edited by user Wednesday, 26 February 2025 4:56:10 pm(UTC)

Only 244mm for the month for me and only 718mm for the year so far..... we have been in a bubble here and avoided nearly every rain event this year. Even dry old cairns has had a heap more than us. Bunyip how are things tracking over in the daintree? Do you have an excel sheet up and running for this year that we can follow ? |

Not bad summer rainfall for White Rock with 1974.5mm. The average between 2011 and 2022 was 1108mm.
It looks like Alfred is slowly dragging it all away for a while by the look of that forecast Scott.

The quicker this POS cyclone buggers off the better. In all seriousness looks like the MJO may make a reappearance toward the end of March. |
Records for 2023: 2710mm 2024: 1884mm (no records April-Sept) 2025: 1260.2mm Feb: 664.8mm |

Hi GT, yes I've got my sheet running but I have not finished formatting it. Been very busy with this work business, looking forward to the end of this job. I'll try getting my head around it all over the weekend, first days off in a few weeks.. Very strange weather indeed, Cool fog rolling down the River this morning, just like a May morning.. Cheers |
