Thanks Ron.BigGrin BigGrin

It's pretty dry out here...

The usual, nice warm days, some still kinda hot. Cool nights. Wondering if I should put a sweater on. We had a cold snap for a week or so a week or so back, that's a usual thing for May. Then it warms up for a while, then we get another cold snap. Then we wonder where winter went. BigGrin

Yeah plenty of smoke rolled down the hills last night with the cooler air. Almost like its starting to feel like dry season :o

Just drove home from Mareeba. Dimbulah to the other side of Petford was driving through smoke. The Featherbeds north of Almaden look like they've just started up this afternoon, and several fires just to the west of us here. Nice and smokey, not nice...
Otherwise a gorgeous day out on the Tableland.

This is when I keep forgetting about the weather, every day is the same. Kinda perfect. Warm & sunny, cool nights, and a bit too cold to get out of bed in the mornings. LOL. Morning temps around 17-18 in the house.

The weather has been great, just the 1mm for June so far, the average is 56. I never thought I'd say it but I'm glad to see dry weather after the wet we had. Temps getting down to 16°C so that's nice as well.

Just cutting and burning stuff here most days.
Had a bit much on and have not got out on the water, and looks like the SE trades are coming back.
Maybe next gap.

Well that wasn't as good as expected. Westerly land breeze blew until around 10 -10:30 at which time it abruptly switch to SSE at about 14 knots. turned out a little uncomfy. Still managed a nice brace of trout without too much trouble.

Still the perfect weather goes on. Temp range for June here so far is 14-31°C, 14 days without a drop of rain.

I went to Yorkeys Knob for a look Saturday morning and got a bit envious of all the boats heading out into a dead flat sea.

Good to see you caught a few fish Ron.

Well after 22 days it is raining :)
Not much, it's only just a small white/light blue blob on the radar, but it is right here.
Gardens needed it and a bit more yet.

I've put a bit of irrigation in, but still lots more needed yet before it gets hot.

Cheers

Definately one of the wierdest Junes I can remember..a couple of weeks of 5 below average minimums and dry, non windy weather but now looks like giving us some more "normal" showery, windy winter weather...

Bugga, just went and picked up my new starter motor and 10 minutes to put it on and the motor cranked over first kick and now the fishing weather has gone...it was horrible listening to all the reports like Rons and seeing all the photo's online where the fish were practically jumping into the boats...

Anyway we will see the extent of the next few days of moisture and hopefully some fishing weather after that..and then I also will have to start thinking about irrigation as well..

How did the construction go SM...all done..?

4.5mm here overnight, the first rainfall in 3 weeks. It's been a nice change but it's good to see some rain again.

The carport is complete Scott. Inspection is happening today and the driveway and slab are getting done next week so it's almost over. Apparently they could have started the concreting this week but almost every cement truck in town is being used on a big job at Mulgrave Mill. Hopefully this rain won't be a problem.
