Still windy here in White Rock 28. The big high in the bight is really stirring things up. Just 0.5mm in the gauge this morning.

Thought I'd post the Manhattan graph for 2023 for this area.

Amazing that the Dec Jasper rain all happened in 6 days

Sept: 19mm
YTD: 2693.5mm

Edit at 0930hrs: A bit of nice rain around this morning. Only 1.5mm overnight though.

Winds have eased a bit inland.
Shivering in Biloela at 21° (according to app).
Just turned the aircon on and set it to 29°. Hopefully that will be warm enough.

Couple of wet mornings here, 7mm yesterday & 10mm today
Interesting radar this morning as 2 systems crossed, with the showers coming from both the SE & NW.

Scott , no we don't have river country, just 4ac mostly clear, with a bit of regrowth up the front that council think
is rainforest..I have been here long enough to remember when it was all clear, people look at you funny when I tell
them we could see the road from a house verandah a few doors up the st, or that there is a bulldozer track up on the ridge
behind us, and you could walk the whole way from here to the end of the ridge along the old logging tracks, I'd guess
your area would have had the same. You have to know what to look for now, but the evidence is still there, just most
are reluctant to see it, because It's the Daintree the oldest forest in the world Cursing
But I work on a few places around here with both river and creeks that need fencing regularly..

Cheers

Bunyip. The radar was interesting this morning. I was trying to work out whether it was worthwhile putting my indoor plants out for a drink and just gave up.🤪

And still going
its been a wet day , some sort of convergence
It's a cold, wet night and the wind gusts chill right through the house.
Should of lit the pot belly.

Cheers
