A nice little storm has worked its wayover our area of the thread. Some good flashes and deep rumbles. There was a small chance we could see a storm on Saturday and GFS has plotted it very well. |

Well it looks like the nice weather we were having for the school holidays is over. At least the kids had the chance to have some good outdoor play time early in the week. By Thursday afternoon the showers were back. In fact we were up at a park in Caloundra on Thursday when a reasonably heavy shower came through and caught us out. Yesterday was fine enough for the kids to go to the pool but today as Colmait mentioned we have thunderstorms. In fact we have just had a storm warning issued: Here is the 128km Mt Stapylton radar image from 4.05pm this afternoon:

It has been a pretty active afternoon Aussie Girl. Still have got deep rumbles going on down here. It is a pretty good storm for this late in the season. Just to add to Aussie Girls post is the Lightning tracker courtesy of Energex. Was just listening to some Chill out music when we had a massive clap of thunder. |
