They seem to have it working again now weary...which is just as well with some rather violent stormage happening to our west..including hail on the tablelands.

Some amazing pics from inside the eye of Melissa from Hurricane hunters...Damned if I would be wanting to fly through the eyewalls of that sucker...

Great photos Scott, they're definitely brave people on those planes Apparently on the last flight through the hurricane, one of their pressure readings was just under 900hpa. Incredible stuff.

Yeah I see they are stating 896 Hpa and sustained winds of 290 Km/h....Its just mind blowing thats its actually intensified further on approach to landfall...and still with that perfect eye...

How did you guys go ..Anything from the storms up north..?
