and yeah it wont be long before the big highs start marching across and dominating our weather..

hellishly humid the past couple of days though a bit of morning sunshine with afternoon storms is quite nice to see...

We had a fast moving thunderstorm at about 2230hrs last night. Good lightning with 31.5mm in about 1/2 an hour. One close house rattling strike got our attention. Lots of blue sky here this morning.

Apr: 44.5mm
YTD: 2109mm

It looks like the run of humid northerlies is coming to an end. Forecast is for SE on the weekend. 10-15kt on Sat, 15-20kt on Sun.

Edit: Cairns-T'ville update: Cairns Aero 1598mm T'ville Aero 2397.6mm. Very strange.
